The Plastics Technology Centre, Andaltec, will participate in the “Life Plasmix” project, where it will provide technical support to the consortium throughout the project, and will be responsible for demonstrating the feasibility of using the material obtained, recycled polypropylene and polystyrene, in applications for the food packaging and automotive sectors. In this way, Andaltec researchers will carry out tasks such as prototype design, characterisation of the materials obtained from the separation plant, simulation of the manufacturing process and the development and validation of demonstrators of the new technology.
