FCC environment begins assembling the machinery and facilities necessary for the first stage of recovery of PLASTICO MIX waste (PP, PS and EPS). The location of these new facilities will be at Ecocentral’s urban solid waste (RSU) recycling facility, located in Alhendín (Granada).
In the first stage of this project, a manual triage process will be carried out for the separation of inappropriate materials (paper, film, metals, etc.) and, then, a separation using an optical separation that will allow the different polymers to be discriminated.
